Závišice is a municipality in the Nový Jičín District of the Moravian-Silesian Region, located approximately 3 km northwest of Kopřivnice. The village lies in the foothills of the Moravian Beskids, along both sides of the Sedlnička River, within the Natural Park of Podbeskydí. With a population of about 1,130 residents, Závišice boasts a rich history dating back to its first written mention in 1354. A prominent feature of the village is the Church of Saints Cyril and Methodius, consecrated in 1935.
